 Last week, there was the final of the Australian Open.  I was disappointed that my favorite players, Kyrgios and Nishikori could not play in this tournament due to injury. However, it was interesting to see the progress of Japanese players.  The final match was between Djokovic and Tsitsipas. I have a lot of respect for Djokovic, because he has continued to compete at the top.  The match itself was close, but the result was overwhelming victory for Djokovic. With his win, he is back in first place.  Recently, young players are starting to emerge and a generational change has begun, so I wish him the best of luck.  Of course, I hope Nishikori will do well next year.

 January 8 , I went shopping at AEON. I didn't have anything special to do, but my friend invited me, so I went.  But I regretted it. Of course, it was fun at first, but I thought it wouldn't take too long. But the reality was different.  He tried on various clothes and went to various stores without buying. In the end, he bought only one outfit.  I didn't have any money at that time, so I couldn't buy anything.  So it was a really hard time for me. I decided not to go shopping with him when I had no money.

 On January 1st,  I went to see the first sunrise with my friends from high school.  My family is not interested in sunrise, so I had never been to see the first sunrise of the year. Therefore, I was not so interested in the first sunrise. However, it was a good opportunity to get together with friends, so I joined the event.  We drove to a place a little far from our hometown.  Thanks for going so far away, there were not many people.  We got a good spot to see the sunrise. The sun was coming up, and it was really beautiful. We had a great time on the way back. I would like to go next year.

 On December 26, I had a Christmas party with my friends.  Most of friends had part-time jobs that day, so the party started at 10 pm. We ordered pizza and bought a lot of snacks and drinks.  We played a game where the loser of the card game ate candy that tasted funny.  I lost the game and tried it, but it was really bad. Also, my friend made a handmade Christmas cake. I was surprised that the cake tasted even better than I had imagined.  When I realized  it, it was 6:00 in the morning. I had to take the ball to the circle at 8:00 that morning. The rest of my friends started sleeping, but I couldn't sleep.  I made sure to bring the ball to the circle. It was a really crazy day.

 On December 16, I tried Karaage,Japanese fried chicken.  That day, I suddenly  wanted to eat Karaage, so I went to buy the ingredients with an easy mind.  Then, I searched for videos of karaage on YouTube and looked up how to make it.  I thought it was really convenient that I could make anything I wanted by looking it up on the Internet. Then, I seasoned the chicken well and deep-fried it.  When I tried it, I felt a little uncomfortable because the chicken inside was too soft. It was not at all what I expected. I didn't even know what was wrong. It was also very troublesome to dispose of the oil after cooking.  I wanted to do a lot of research so that I could make it better next time.

On December 11, I played a tennis match with a friend after a long time.  I think tennis is a mental sport. I have seen professional tennis players slam their rackets to the ground, and I know how they feel. Of course, I have never done that.  I often get nervous when I have to get a point. I also become defensive because I am afraid of making mistakes. I know this is wrong, but I can't improve  it. However, I was very good in this match and played well from start to finish.  I wonder why I can't always give the same performance. I will continue to practice so that I can play the game the way I want to play.

 On December 4, I went for a drive with a friend.  I was very nervous because I had not driven a car since I got my driver's license during the summer vacation.  I wanted to drive on the highway, but everyone also wanted to drive on the highway because they were not confident in their driving skills.  I lost in a game of rock-paper-scissors, so in the end I could not drive on the highway.  At first I was puzzled, but gradually my senses returned and I was able to enjoy driving.  We drove to Ehime and took a hot spring bath. I love hot springs, so I was very satisfied.  After the onsen, we ate yakiniku. Although I lost most of the money I  saved,I want to go there again.
